I believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to heal, grow, and become the most authentic
version of themselves. Choosing to begin therapy is a courageous first step, and I recognize the
strength it takes to reach out for support. My role is to provide a compassionate,
non-judgmental, attuned, and collaborative space where clients feel safe to explore their
experiences, reconnect with their inherent strengths, and create meaningful, lasting change at a
pace that feels right for them.
My therapeutic approach is client-centred, trauma-informed, and grounded primarily in Narrative
Therapy and Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed principles. I integrate Brainspotting,
self-compassion practices, feminist therapy, psychoeducation, and strength-based interventions
to meet each client's unique needs. I recognize the impact that trauma, relationships, culture,
identity, and systemic influences can have on mental health, and I strive to honour each
person's story while supporting them in discovering new possibilities for healing and growth.
I work collaboratively with clients to develop practical coping strategies while also exploring the
deeper patterns and experiences that contribute to emotional distress. Whether clients are
navigating anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, relationship challenges, or trauma, my goal
is to help them build resilience, increase self-understanding, and move toward a life that feels
authentic and meaningful.
I believe that healing begins when people feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted for who
they are. A strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, compassion, and authenticity creates
the foundation for meaningful change. I recognize that every person's story is unique, and I
strive to honour each individual's lived experiences while helping them reconnect with the
strengths, resilience, and wisdom they already possess.
I approach mental health through a holistic, trauma-informed, and socially conscious lens that
acknowledges the interconnectedness of our minds, bodies, relationships, identities, and
environments. Rather than focusing on what is "wrong" with someone, I seek to understand how
their experiences have shaped them and the ways they have adapted to navigate life's
challenges. Together, we explore these stories with curiosity and compassion, creating space
for healing, growth, and new possibilities.
I am committed to fostering an inclusive, affirming, and culturally responsive therapeutic
environment where clients from all backgrounds feel welcomed, respected, and empowered. My
hope is that through our work together, clients deepen their self-understanding, cultivate
self-compassion, strengthen their connection to themselves and others, and move toward a life
that feels authentic, meaningful, and aligned with their values.
I have always been drawn to connecting with other people, understanding their stories, and
learning about the experiences that have shaped their lives. I feel privileged to walk alongside
clients as they navigate some of life’s most challenging moments and transitions.
I believe resilience is not simply about overcoming hardship; it is about honouring the ways
people have adapted, recognizing the strengths they carry, and creating space for healing,
self-discovery, and growth. Therapy provides an opportunity to explore our stories with
compassion, develop deeper self-understanding, and move toward a life that feels meaningful,
authentic, and aligned with who we are.
I am particularly passionate about supporting women through the emotional and psychological
transitions of perimenopause and menopause, as well as women navigating the journey into
motherhood and the profound identity shifts of matrescence. It is an honour to witness clients
reconnect with themselves, cultivate self-compassion, rediscover their strengths, and embrace
new chapters in their lives.
